Ever start a project or identify a desire and have the accusing voices start telling you that x time has gone by and nothing has been done, or not enough?
These accusations create an uneasy feeling within us. The feeling of not enough or impotence.
Maybe I don’t yet know what to do next or maybe it’s not time, or maybe I have tied myself up in the knot of accusations!!!
From this limited human perspective it is not possible to know, but from my broader higher consciousness I can know and understand.
From my broader perspective I can know what to do and when to do it. I can be right on time and I remember that there most certainly is enough time and enough knowing.
Learning to sit with the I don’t know, is one sure way to grow.
It must be that when we stop the belief that we know when we obviously don’t, we create a space for the Divine to give us a new perspective.
And so we wait, summoning all the faith we have and asking for more. We wait and trust for the Divine understanding and timing to come.
And we learn to not care one little bit how it looks to us or anybody else. From here we comfort ourselves and others while we wait upon the Divine.
That reminds me of this…
Isaiah 40:31 – “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Small children’s eagerness to learn about Life comes as a result of their not knowing, not ever seeing a baby bird, not ever having seen how a butterfly comes from a cocoon. In order to keep that wide eyed wonder and sense of adventure and awe, not knowing is necessary.
